This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
Framed: 30 x 25 inches.The canvas has an old lining and is stretched on a new stretcher. The surface is stable but the white shirt shows signs of a yellowed varnish. Under UV light: the old green varnish has been carefully removed from the figure and the background. There is scattered inpainting on his hair, and larger areas on both shoulders. The background has also scattered areas of repair. Additional images available upon request.
